From the publication date of this book, it is evident this was quite early in the discussion of alternative medicine treament in horses. And Wyche's whole approach is one of exploration, covering what the various modalities - from promoting peaceful, comfortable surroundings in the stable, to homeopathy, massage, accupuncture, healing touch or Bach Flower Remedies. While some specific remedies are mentioned, this is more an introduction, with the suggestion that, yes, it is anectdotal evidence, but some of these remedies seem to help, they can be applied along with traditional medical treatments without conflict, and they do no harm.
